Pay Attention To

Environment! INTERIOR or EXTERIOR?

Timber should be PRE-DRILLED when density of the timber is greater than 500 kg/m3 and/or diameter (side dimension) of the screw exeeds 6 mm.

There should be at least TWO SCREWS in a connection.

Screw pointside PENETRATION LENGTH should be at least 6x DIAMETER.

Load-bearing screws should meet the requirements of the CERTIFICATES or STANDARDS.

The wrong SIZES and LOCATIONS of the load-bearing screws could crush the wood and reduce the load capacit

Is the screw COLOR important?

Important load-bearing connections with heavy loads should be calculated by CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER
